Course Booking Procedure

A Booking Form will be sent to you via electronic mail (e-mail) in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and will show:

Booking Form reference,
The course codes,
Course date(s),
Quoted discounts,
Guide to the overall costs.

To confirm the booking, return via e-mail:

Written (within the e-mail) confirmation,
A postal and an e-mail address of your accounts department,
A Purchase Order (or similar).

Training course discounts and special offers

Any discounts and special offers for courses are subject to QT&C Ltd’s payment terms.

Discounts and offers for ISEB courses only apply where the exam preparation day (if applicable) and exam are taken with the 5 day course they are associated to.

Alternate exam preparation days and exams will incur a charge = to the current value of the exam preparation day plus any costs incurred by QT&C Ltd.

Payment Terms

Please note that QT&C Ltd operates an electronic accounting process and will generate invoices in PDF for electronic transfer to Accounts Payable departments.

All quotes for all QT&C services or any other work are exclusive of VAT.

Unless by prior arrangement with QT&C Ltd, payment terms are as follows:

Training Courses

Full payment is to be made on receipt of invoice. Invoices paid on or later than 14 days prior to the commencement of the course WILL be charged at the full list price of the course.

Payments received after the commencement of the course will be charged at 2% above the base rate of interest for each consecutive day until full payment is received.

For bookings of courses received 14 days prior to commencement of the course, special payment terms can be arranged. These arrangements must be agreed prior to commencement of the course.

E-Learning

Full payment is to be made 30 days net of invoice.

For 3 and 5 year term maintenance contracts and hosting services, a 7.5% discount for 3 year terms and 15% discount for 5 year terms are available if full payment of total contract value is received 30 days net of invoice.

Payments received later than 30 days net of invoice, interest will be charged at 2% above the base rate of interest for each consecutive day until full payment is received.

Consultancy Services

Full payment is to be made 30 Days net of invoice.

For 3 and 5 year term contracts, a 7.5% discount of the total contract value for 3 year terms and 15% discount of the total contract value for 5 year terms are available if full payment is received 30 days net of invoice.

Payments received later than 30 days net of invoice will be charged at 2% above the base rate of interest for each consecutive day until full payment is received.

Payment Options

Payment can be made by BACS, Cheque or Chaps Transfer, the full details for which will be on the invoice or contact accounts@qtandc.co.uk

Joining Instructions

Joining instruction will be sent, usually via e-mail, prior to the commencement of the course. Unless otherwise stated all courses exclude accommodation but will include lunch and refreshments.

Course Changes

QT&C Ltd does reserve the right to change course materials and formats. This will usually only be done when:

There is a major syllabus change issued by examination bodies.

We reserve the right to change the date, location or cancel a course. This will usually only be done when:

Unforeseen circumstances have forced a change; or where there is a lack of delegate numbers on a course.

QT&C Ltd will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid any changes and will ensure that delegates are kept informed at all times should such changes be necessary.

Cancellations made by Delegates

Cancellations are to be made in writing (an e-mail is acceptable)

8 weeks prior to a course – a 100% refund of payment received
5 weeks prior to a course – a 50% refund of payment received or a charge of 50% of the invoice value
3 weeks prior to a course – a 0% refund of payment received or a charge equivalent to 100% of the invoice value


Cancellations made in regard to a delegate’s attendance on a formal examination will be subject that Examination Bodies terms and conditions.

Postponements of a course made 3 weeks prior to the commencement of a course will incur a charge = to the value of any charges incurred by QT&C Ltd.

BCS-ISEB – Full payment will be required if examinations are cancelled two weeks (or less) from the date of the exam.

Conduct

Conduct, attitude and character of delegates will remain the responsibility of the delegates’ parent organisation.

It is expected that at all times delegates will respect the aims and objectives of their fellow delegates and those of the designated trainer.

QT&C Ltd has a duty to ensure that its employees are kept free from abuse, both physical and mental, and to that end the company adopts a zero tolerance policy with regard to poor conduct on a course.

QT&C Ltd training staff will act as the first point of contact for all delegates whilst attending a course.
If further intervention is required, QT&C will liaise with the delegate’s employer alerting them to the issues at hand and requesting their assistance.

As a final measure Delegates will be liable to immediate removal from a course, without refund or when required a demand made by QT&C Ltd to recover payments due. In extreme circumstances this can include a formal complaint and may require compensation for any inconvenience caused to fellow delegates.

IPR and Copyright

These terms and conditions are provided between QT&C Group Ltd [which includes; QT&C Ltd, QT&C iSolutions Ltd] and the end Customer only [the organisation for whom the material is provided for the purpose of their day-to day operations and management of the subject provided and only within that organisation] whether by direct contract or via a third party as a sub-contractor.

You undertake that you will not copy or permit the photocopying of materials nor disclose or permit the disclosure or sell or hire the same to third parties nor use the same for running your own courses.

The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in any material produced by QT&C Group Ltd shall remain the sole and exclusive property of the Group unless indicated otherwise. QT&C Group Ltd does provide a perpetual licence to the Customer (as defined) for the purposes stated only. When re-using any material provided by QT&C Group Ltd for the purposes of internal training or consultation the organisation must at all time reference QT&C Group Ltd.

QT&C Group Ltd material is not to be passed to other organisations or used in the training or consultation of other organisations without prior agreement and to do so will be treated as a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
